WWI Commemorations- Living History Weekend
9th & 10th June

The Royal Norfolk Regiment Living History Group was formed in the late 1980s to accurately portray the life and equipment of the front-line infantry soldier from 1879 to 1959 for the purposes of honouring and remembering the men and women who gave their lives during times of conflict.

The event will focus on the discharge of soldiers that began to occur at the end of the war; what the soldiers ate in the field and how it was prepared; the Regimental Aid Post and the various injuries tackled by medical personnel; the farrier and how he fixed carts and created horseshoes; and more!
